We hope our unique collections will help you create your own individual home. The following Terms and Conditions contain useful information to help you make your purchase. By proceeding with an order it will be assumed by Meg Morton that you have read, understood and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.

All copyright, design/artwork rights and intellectual property rights belong to Meg Morton. Design and product images are also the property of Meg Morton. All Rights Reserved.
Please do not use any images or Meg Morton logos without our permission. Some images, although we have had permission to use, may not be under our copyright.
Express permission for the use of images must be sought, authorised and granted in writing by Meg Morton.

Orders & Payment

All mainland UK and non-mainland UK (Highlands & Islands, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle Of Man, Ireland, Northern Island) orders can be processed directly through this website, which is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
We process card payments securely through our Shopify site where you are able to pay using payment cards; Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Paypal etc.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

We also accept orders and payment via telephone on 01258 473207. All transactions are processed via shopify payments and no customer card details are retained.

All Prices include VAT.

All prices on our website are for UK retail based sales only. For overseas orders -  Please email us at:megmortonhome@gmail.com.

Legal ownership of any goods ordered remains the property of Meg Morton until full payment has been received.

Please note that you cannot resell any Meg Morton goods on e-bay, Amazon or similar websites, by mail order, nor sell to third parties who are not end users.

Fabric & Wallpaper Samples

We recommend that you order a fabric or wallpaper sample before you place any order. Please do not solely rely on the colour you see online as computer screens and monitors differ. We can not offer fabric refunds where the colour was not as expected on your screen.
Samples are not refundable.

Sample sizes:

20 x 15cm They are intended as a representation of colour and may not show the full design. 

Please take time to look at your sample in different parts of the room throughout the day – you will notice the colours change in different lights.

If a sample is out of stock we will deliver as soon as possible.

Fabric Quantity

Fabrics on our website are sold by the metre. If you are looking for an exact size please contact us and we can send you a bespoke invoice through shopify where you will be able to pay securely.
Please note that our minimum order is 1 metre.

Shrinkage

If you are ordering a large amount of fabric, please note that due to the printing process the fabric can shrink by approximately 1cm per metre ordered. Please take this into account when ordering.

Wallpaper Quantity                                                                                               

Our wallpaper is printed to order in approx 21 days, please make sure you order enough to complete your project, as printed batches can vary. Please speak to a your decorator if you need assistance with roll quantities. Any un used rolls are non refundable. 

Our 10 metre wallpaper rolls are paste the wall application.

Please note that there may be a subtle colour variation between fabric and wallpaper of the same design and colour which is beyond our control.

Delivery Information

All our fabrics are printed to order and delivery periods can vary. We aim to dispatch fabric orders within mainland UK within 10 to 14 days and for wallpaper in 21 days direct from our printers.

Once your order is ready for dispatch we will contact you via email.

Orders for over 2 metres of fabric will be on a roll, orders under 2 metres of fabric will be folded.

Delivery charges are calculated based on the weight and volume of the order. The delivery charge will be added to your order at the point of check-out.

Meg Morton uses a variety of delivery companies to deliver customer goods, these companies deliver within the normal working hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the goods can be received within these timescales.

Please make sure that you or your curtain maker checks your fabric on arrival to make sure it is the correct design and colourway. We are unable to refund or exchange the wrong fabric once it has been cut.

Orders outside the UK Mainland

Overseas orders cannot be processed though this web site. Please email us details of your order, name, home address and contact details and we will supply you with a delivery quote. Quotes are valid for 14 days.

Payment can be made via a bespoke invoice through our Shopify payment gateway.

Please note that delivery charges are made in pounds sterling. There may be local duty and/or taxes payable on goods delivered outside the UK and we are not responsible for paying these charges.

Changes Or Cancellations

All bespoke products which include fabric, wallpaper, cushions & lampshades are printed or made to order, so it is not possible to amend or cancel your order once you have received an order acknowledgement.

Where the goods are not made to the customer’s own specification, the customer may cancel the agreement with Meg Morton at any time up to the end of the 14th working day commencing from the date the customer received the goods. The customer does not need to provide any reason for the cancellation nor will the customer have to pay any penalty. In accordance with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To cancel the order or agreement the customer must notify Meg Morton by email - megmortonhome@gmail.com or via phone.

If the customer  has received the goods prior to the agreement being cancelled then the customer must send the goods back to Meg Morton at the customer’s own cost and risk. If the customer cancels the agreement  but Meg Morton have already processed the goods for delivery the customer must not unpack the goods and the customer must send the goods back as soon as possible.

The customer will be refunded as soon as the goods are received in original condition. The customer must be responsible for paying the return delivery.

Faulty Goods

If you receive faulty or damaged goods, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolve any issues as promptly as possible.

We cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery or damage to or loss of goods once the goods have been dispatched and are in possession of the carriers. It is your responsibility to inspect goods on delivery. Any shortage in delivery, or delivery which is not in accordance with your order, or goods lost or damaged in transit must be advised to us in writing or via email to megmortonhome@gmail.com within 3 working days of receipt. We will endevour to resolve damaged or lost goods as soon as possible.

Fabric and wallpaper that has been cut will not be acceptable for returns even if it is faulty.

Fabric Care

All fabrics are printed to order in the UK onto a linen cotton mix which is perfect for curtains and soft furnishings.

Please ensure that the fabric you order is fit for its intended use. We cannot provide a martindale rub test as our fabrics are digitally printed. We therefore recommend light weight upholstery use only. Dry clean only and iron on a cool setting.
Please note that our fabrics are not fire retarded by default.

Fabric Colours & Weave

Please be aware that textures and colours can vary slightly in different batches due to the nature of the weaving and printing processes using linen. Please note that we cannot be liable for these shade and weave variations.

Linen is made from natural plant fibres that may appear as “slubs” within the fabric this is a characteristic of linen which adds to its beauty and is not an imperfection or fault. This can therefore not be deemed as a fault and therefore non refundable.

Please be aware that on coloured printed backgrounds there is the possibility of the odd printing dot due to a speck of loose lint. This rarely happens but can be noticeable with some of the darker colours.

Fabric Fading

Most fabrics will fade after lengthy times of exposure to strong sunlight. We always recommended that our customers use a suitable lining to try to reduce or prevent fading. However, all natural fabrics are prone to fading and we cannot take responsibility for fabric fading for any reason.

                                                                

Wallpaper Care

Our wallpapers are all printed to order here in the UK, onto tactile, smooth non-woven high quality paper with a flat, matt printed finish. The wallpaper is made from recycled materials (FSC certified C104236) and the inks used are environmentally friendly with good light fastness.

Fire Rating - EN BS 13501-1:2002 Class B, s1, d0 

Lampshades                                                                                                       

All lampshades are hand made to order here in Dorset, available in a variety of sizes and styles. All shades are backed with flame retardant PVC which has been tested and passed by the Lighting Association. These bespoke shades are non refundable unless faulty.

Cushions                                                                                                          

Our cushions are all expertly hand made here in Dorset and include luxury feather inners. Available in a variety of sizes and styles. These bespoke cushions are non refundable unless faulty.
